Top Delivered Meal Kits and Specialty Foods Apps on iOS in Romania Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, several meal kit and specialty food applications showed varied performance metrics on the iOS platform in Romania. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here’s a closer look at the top five apps in this category.

Vivino: Drink The Right Wine saw a notable increase in both revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $479 in the final week of December. The app's downloads also surged, reaching 561 in the week of December 23. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, rising from 8.2K in October to a peak of 14.6K by the end of December.

HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery experienced a decline in downloads, starting from 116 in early October and bottoming to 25 mid-December. Despite this, the app maintained a stable number of active users around 1.5K, with a slight dip to 1.1K in early December before recovering towards the end of the quarter.

For Factor_ Prepared Meal Delivery, downloads were minimal, starting at 59 and dropping to single digits by December. Active users decreased steadily from 298 to 209 by the end of December.

CrowdFarming showed low download numbers, peaking at 15 in early October. Active users remained relatively stable around 150, with a slight decrease to 131 by the end of December.

Lastly, MealPlanet - Delivery App recorded minimal downloads, with a peak of 28 in mid-October.
